Monday 24, October 2011• Narain Karthikeyan to replace Liuzzi for the Indian F1 GP

HRT F1 has announced that Vitantonio Liuzzi will sit out for Narain Karthikeyan for the inaugural Indian Formula One GP, to be held from October 28 to 30. Narain drove for the HRT F1 (Hispania Racing Team) for the first eight races of the 2011 season, and was latter replaced by Daniel Riccardo who brought in much needed sponsor and funds for the Spanish team.

The first ever F1 driver from India will once again take his position on the grid this year, and this time at the new developed Buddh International Circuit in the capital city. Hero Motor Corp and Narain announced a one-race sponsorship deal with HRT in September for an undisclosed amount.
